Are the sounds in these kits royalty free?
All sounds (loops, midis, etc.) included in the kits on this website are royalty free for selling beats online (leases, exclusives, etc.). You are not required to credit anyone or split profits. However, if any sounds are used by a major artist and/or an artist on a major label, you must first clear it with Based1. Visit the support tab or contact based1contact@gmail.com for clearance.
How do I purchase a kit?
In the kits tab, click on the kit you'd like to purchase and add it to your cart. When you're finished shopping, head to the checkout. Here, you can enter a coupon code if you have one, and proceed to purchase. You can purchase via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or through any Visa, Mastercard or American Express card.
How is the quality of the sounds in the kits?
The sounds in these kits have been carefully curated/handcrafted Based1 and other industry producers. Several of these loops, sounds, etc. can be heard in major placements in a variety of genres, and have left thousands of musicians happy and satisfied with their purchase. All kits include .wav files of the sounds, unless intentionally rendered as another file format.
Are these sounds compatible with my DAW?
Yes. All of the sounds in these kits can be used in any Digital Audio Workstation of your choice, as long as you can add audio files into them. (e.g. FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Reason, etc.) In order to use the Expansion Banks, you must first have the designated VST installed on your device. (e.g. Omnisphere, Analog Lab, Effect Rack, etc.)
Can I refund a product after I purchase it?
Unfortunatly, no. All purchases made on the website are final and cannot be returned.
What if I purchased Based1 kits on an old website?
If you purchased any Based1 kits on previous official websites and do not have access anymore, these may still be honored. A reciept must be included with your inquiry. Please reach out via the support tab for more information.
Is this website legit?
Yes, anything purchased here (based1.com) is directly from Based1. Any issues you have with retrieving your file, or any other problems you may run across can be easily solved through the contact tab. Any other webite you see a Based1 kit for sale is not legit,* and will not help you solve any issues with your kit purchase. These sites are infringing copyright and illegally distributing these kits. Any purchases made on these sites will not be honored in any fashion.
